What this means for your Azawakh

The breed's very low body fat means it can be sensitive to cold weather and to anaesthesia, so always flag the breed to your vet before any procedure requiring a general anaesthetic. As a lean sighthound, the Azawakh also needs careful management of its diet and exercise to avoid injury during high-speed activity.
